Although humans do not eat many of the birds from the rice fields, most species of fish are eaten; therefore the pesticide levels could pose a serious threat. Also the application in the field could pose a threat to the environment and the humans in the area.

A reduction in levels of Endrin in rice fields and surrounding nature.
